The team I race with , Shaws Motorsport , I also do some work for which builds my mechanical knowledge and allows me to help build my car for 2026.

We started by putting the basic sidepods on that hold the radiators and taping some of the chassis up to protect it from scratches. Furthermore we managed to get the gear box on and start to build some of the rear suspension.

The main bottleneck currently is the fuel tank as the filler neck is currently to tall and needs to be moved so you can get the tank in the car but also get enough rubber on the neck to be secure. Furthermore it needs to be padded and a few holes drilled in the floor plates in
case of spillages to prevent it all converging under the tank.
